There was a minor upset when 5th ranked Le Portel (10-7) lost at home to eighth ranked Limoges (10-7) 69-60 on Friday. Forward Tim Eboh (197-97) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and guard Benjamin Delage (183-97) accounted for 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Cameroonian guard Samir Gbetkom Bikantchou (191-98) came up with 15 points and 5 steals and forward Marcello Piccoli (201-99) added 8 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Le Portel in the defeat. Limoges moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Le Portel. Limoges will meet at home Hyeres-Toulon (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Le Portel will play against the league's second-placed Strasbourg U21 (#2) and hope to secure a win.
