Regular Season Round 30: Puente Alto - Los Leones 93-86

Top ranked Los Leones (20-10) recorded its tenth loss on the court of fourth ranked Puente Alto on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by Puente Alto 93-86. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Los Leones' 34. Puente Alto looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Jerome Hill (198-94, college: Gardner-Webb) who had a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 13 rebounds and 6 assists. Venezuelan forward Juan Coronado (203-90, college: Liberty) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds. Puente Alto's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Argentinian forward Lisandro Rasio (198-90, agency: Pro Sports) who recorded a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and the former international point guard Evandro Arteaga (178-83) added 23 points and 6 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) respectively. Puente Alto have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with CDU Catolica. Los Leones at the other side still keep top position with ten games lost.
