The game between second ranked Flying Leopards (23-8) and sixth ranked Beijing Ducks (21-10) was the most important one in the last round on Friday night. Flying Leopards were defeated by Beijing Ducks in a tough game in Beijing 87-96. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Flying Leopards. Beijing Ducks looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for international guard Shuo Fang (188-90) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Croatian-American center Justin Hamilton (213-90, college: LSU) helped adding 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks. At the losing side American forward Brandon Bass (203-85, college: LSU, agency: Dutt Sports Services) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and the former international center Dejun Han (215-89) scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. Five Beijing Ducks and four Flying Leopards players scored in double figures. Beijing Ducks have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Jiangsu D. Flying Leopards at the other side keep the second position with eight games lost. Beijing Ducks is looking forward to face Leopards (#7) in Shenzhen in the next round. Flying Leopards will play at home against Sturgeons (#15) and are hoping to win this game.
