Regular Season Round 21: Spojnia - Slask Wroclaw 77-69

1Liga top team - Spojnia (19-1) added another victory to their record. This time they beat eleventh ranked Slask (8-12) in Stargard 77-69. Slask was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Marcin Dymala (187-90) nailed 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and power forward Wojciech Fras (202-91) accounted for 12 points and 11 rebounds. Power forward Aleksander Dziewa (205-97, agency: Octagon Europe) came up with 14 points and 8 rebounds and forward Marcin Bluma (201-89) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Slask in the defeat. Five Spojnia and four Slask players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Spojnia have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 19-1 record. Newly promoted Slask dropped to the tenth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Kotwica. Spojnia will play against Enea Astoria (#12) in Bydgoszcz in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Slask will play at home against Notec Inowr. and hopes to get back on the winning track.
