Regular Season Round 21: AEC Collblanc - Roser 72-75

There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked Roser (4-11) edged 4th placed AEC Collblanc (8-5) in L´Hospitalet 75-72 on Saturday. AEC Collblanc cut a 15-point halftime deficit to three at the end of the game. Roser made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. It was a good game for Daniel Roure who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Albert Sulleva contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Roser players scored in double figures. Roser's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Edson Avila (206-92, college: Georgetown, KY) answered with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks and point guard Marc Pages (178-95) added 17 points in the effort for AEC Collblanc. Newly promoted Roser maintains fourteenth place in Group C-A with 4-11 record. Loser AEC Collblanc dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
