No shocking result in a game in Nagano where third ranked Orange Vikings (19-12) defeated 5th ranked Shinshu BW (12-18) 79-72 on Saturday. They outrebounded Shinshu BW 44-29 including 31 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Toshino Yoshihiko (186-92) who scored 28 points and 7 rebounds. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Tim Dezelski (198-90, college: Hillsdale, agency: Duran International) produced 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Takei Hiroaki (182-91) added 18 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Orange Vikings keep a position of league leader, which they share with Toyotsu FE. Shinshu BW lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 18 games lost. Orange Vikings will have a break next round. Shinshu BW will play again at home against Orange Vikings (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
