Regular Season Round 16: Barca CBS - ADBA 82-76

Very predictable result when second ranked Barca CBS (12-4) won against 12th ranked ADBA (4-12) in Barcelona 82-76 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. ADBA trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 22-16 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 76-82 at the end of the game. It was a very good performance for Carla Perez (-91) who helped to win the game recording 18 points. American center Devanny King (185, college: Georgetown, KY) contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Five Barca CBS players scored in double figures. Barca CBS's coach Mateo Rubio allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American center Ashley Ezeh (185, college: Texas St.) replied with 27 points and 7 rebounds and her fellow American import guard Sierra Moore (180-94, college: Penn St.) added 22 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for ADBA. Newly promoted Barca CBS maintains second position in Group A with 12-4 record having four points less than leader Gran Canaria, which they share with GDKO Bizkaia and Aros Patatas. Loser ADBA dropped to the eleventh place with 12 games lost. Barca CBS's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Barcelona to the arena Joventut LC.
