Very expected game when 18th ranked Salta Basket (4-10) lost at home to fourteenth ranked Boca Juniors (6-7) 79-69 on Saturday. The former international swingman Adrian Boccia (195-82) notched a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and point guard Lucas Perez (185-87) supported him with 15 points and 4 assists. Boca Juniors' coach Gustavo Fernandez used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 25 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) by American forward Al Thornton (203-83, college: Florida St.) did not help to save the game for Salta Basket. The former international forward Pablo Espinoza (200-87) added 7 points and 15 rebounds for the hosts. Boca Juniors moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Regatas C.
