Date: January 27, 2018
Rather expected game when 6th ranked Spezzina (9-7) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Bologna (13-3) 71-62 on Saturday. Bologna forced 21 Spezzina turnovers. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Raelin DAlie (168-87, college: Wisconsin, agency: LBM Management) who had a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. Point guard Elisabetta Tassinari (175-94) chipped in 12 points. British-Portuguese center Lavinia Silva (187-88) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points and 14 rebounds and forward Elisabetta Linguaglossa (185-87) added 9 points and 5 steals respectively for the guests. Spezzina's coach Marco Corsolini tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Bologna maintains fourth place in A2 with 13-3 record. Loser Spezzina keeps the sixth position with seven games lost.
