Not a big story in a game when 5th ranked Bankeryd (6-5) was outscored at home by second ranked RIG Mark (9-2) 96-52 on Saturday. The game without a history. RIG Mark led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. RIG Mark forced 21 Bankeryd turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Bankeryd's players. It was a good game for point guard Eddie Czerapowicz (174-0) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Guard John Thornblom (194-0) contributed with 7 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. RIG Mark's coach Michael Bree felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Montenegrin power forward Merim Tokovic (208-86) answered with 10 points and 9 rebounds and guard Jonas Eriksson (190-85) added 20 points in the effort for Bankeryd. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for RIG Mark. They maintain second place with 9-2 record having four points less than leader KFUM Fryshuset. Newly promoted Bankeryd keeps the fifth position with five games lost. RIG Mark will have a break next round. Bankeryd will play against Huddinge (#9) and hope to win that game.
