The game in supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Fubon Braves (11-8) played at the court of 5th ranked Bank of Taiwan (9-10). Fubon Braves smashed Bank of Taiwan 91-67. Fubon Braves dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Bank of Taiwan's 28. They outrebounded Bank of Taiwan 46-32 including 34 on the defensive glass. Fubon Braves players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. American center Garret Siler (213-86, college: Augusta) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds for the winners and guard Jian-Yi Zhou (185-90) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. Four Fubon Braves players scored in double figures. Costa Rican-Belizean forward Charles Garcia (208-88, college: Seattle) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international guard Wei-Che Lee (179-91) scored 12 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Fubon Braves have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Yulon Luxgen and Dacin Tigers. Bank of Taiwan lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with ten games lost. Fubon Braves will play against league's second-placed Yulon Luxgen in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bank of Taiwan will play against Taiwan Beer and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
