Regular Season Round 15: Orebro - Helsingborg 70-93

Basketettan top team - Helsingborg (12-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Orebro (3-8) 93-70. The game without a history. Helsingborg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a quality performance for forward Patrik Andersson (191-94) who led the winners and scored 30 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Anton Persson (180-97) accounted for 21 points for the winning side. Robert Schultz (-89) came up with 16 points and Tonny Dabaueh (-97) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Orebro in the defeat. Four Orebro players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the twelfth consecutive win for Helsingborg. They maintain first place with 12-0 record. Newly promoted Orebro keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. Helsingborg will meet at home Boras II (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Orebro will have a break next round.
