Very expected game when 13th ranked Patti (4-15) was smashed on the road by sixth ranked Roma Luiss (13-6) 83-57 on Saturday. Quite impressive performance for guard Leonardo Marcon (190-95, agency: Players Group) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Eugenio Beretta (208-96) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Roma Luiss players scored in double figures. Point guard Giorgio Busco (187-95) answered with 8 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Luigi Dispinseri (200-93) added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Patti. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Roma Luiss maintains sixth place in B with 13-6 record. Loser Patti dropped to the fourteenth position with 15 games lost. Roma Luiss will face league's leader Basket Barcellona on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Patti will play against Isernia (#16) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
