Regular Season Round 28: Iskra Svit - Levice 86-89

The most exciting game of round 28 in the SBL took place in Svit. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 5th ranked Iskra Svit (17-11) to third ranked Levice (20-8) 89-86 on Saturday evening. Levice made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Boris Bojanovsky (217-93, college: Florida St.) who helped to win the game recording 8 points and 8 rebounds. International point guard Simon Krajcovic (191-94, college: Loyola Mary) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Serbian point guard Sasa Avramovic (193-93, agency: BeoBasket) replied with 27 points and 7 rebounds and American point guard A.J. Walton (184-90, college: Baylor, agency: Diamond Sports) added 12 points, 9 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Iskra Svit. Four Iskra Svit players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Levice maintains third position with 20-8 record having five points less than leader Inter Bratislava. Iskra Svit at the other side keeps the fifth place with 11 games lost. Levice are looking forward to face Rieker KN (#6) in Komarno in the next round. Iskra Svit will play at home against Prievidza and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
