The game between closely ranked teams ended with twelfth ranked Giulianova's (9-10) home victory over 13th ranked Fabriano (7-12) 72-61 on Saturday. Quite impressive performance for center Daniele Tomasello (203-93) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Alessandro Banchi (185-98, agency: Players Group) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Giulianova players scored in double figures. Point guard Fabrizio Gialloreto (187-87) answered with 20 points and guard Filiberto Dri (190-89) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Fabriano. Giulianova moved-up to eighth place in B, which they share with Desio and Padova. Newly promoted Fabriano dropped to the twelfth position with 12 games lost. Giulianova will face Senigallia (#8) on the road in the next round. Fabriano will play against Campli (#4) and hope to win that game.
