There was a surprise result when thirteenth ranked Souffelweyersheim (8-11) beat at home higher ranked SO Maritime Boulogne (9-10) 85-74 on Saturday. Souffelweyersheim looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a very good performance for American point guard Fabyon Harris (180-91, college: Texas A&M) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 7 assists. Valentin Correia (192-93) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Five Souffelweyersheim players scored in double figures. Naturalized Mali forward Namory Boundy (202-89) answered with 19 points and American point guard Diante Watkins (174-90, college: Robert Morris) added 12 points, 7 assists and 4 steals in the effort for SO Maritime Boulogne. Souffelweyersheim moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Brissac-Aubance. Loser SO Maritime Boulogne keeps the ninth position with ten games lost. Souffelweyersheim will face Brissac-Aubance (#12) in Brissac-Quince in the next round.
