No shocking result in a game in Lublin where sixth ranked AZS UMCS (9-6) defeated 9th ranked Enea AZS P. (4-9) 80-67 on Saturday. AZS UMCS forced 23 Enea AZS P. turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian forward Uju Ugoka (185-93, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Two Points) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) and Ukrainian forward Katerina Dorogobuzova (190-90) who added 14 points during the contest. At the losing side American guard Jazmine Davis (170-93, college: Washington, agency: LBM Management) responded with 22 points and 6 rebounds and Ukrainian forward Kateryna Rymarenko (187-90) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. AZS UMCS moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Gorzow Wlkp. Newly promoted Enea AZS P. keeps the ninth position with nine games lost. AZS UMCS will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Enea AZS P. will play against AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski (#6) and hope to secure a win.
