The most surprising game was the first loss of Tresnjevka (12-1) on the court of sixth ranked ZKK Split on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by ZKK Split 80-62. It ended at the same time the 12-game winning streak of Tresnjevka. The game without a history. ZKK Split led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. ZKK Split forced 23 Tresnjevka turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Forward Marijana Mamic (186-93) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Josipa Silov (171-98) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four ZKK Split players scored in double figures. Point guard Nika Muhl (177-1) replied with 16 points, 6 assists and 6 steals and Andjela Katavic (177-99) added 17 points in the effort for Tresnjevka. ZKK Split maintains sixth position with 7-6 record. Tresnjevka at the other side still keeps top place with one game lost. ZKK Split are looking forward to face higher ranked Podravac (#4) in Virje in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Tresnjevka will play at home against Ragusa and is hoping to win this game.
