Regular Season Round 19: Super Flavor M. - Alba 70-64

There was no surprise when 13th ranked Alba (6-13) lost to third ranked Super Flavor M. (15-4) in Milano 64-70 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Super Flavor M. outrebounded Alba 38-27 including 25 on the defensive glass. It was a very good performance for the former international power forward Andrea Paleari (202-81) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. Power forward Biagio Sergio (197-86) contributed with 11 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Five Super Flavor M. players scored in double figures. Naturalized Argentinian swingman Santiago Boffelli (195-83) answered with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Giacomo DellAgnello (201-94) added 13 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Alba. Super Flavor M. moved-up to second place in B, which they share with Piacenza. Newly promoted Alba keeps the thirteenth position with 13 games lost. Super Flavor M. will face Oleggio (#8) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Alba will play against Montecatiniterme (#5) and hope to win that game.
