Regular Season Round 21: Mitsubishi K. - Aishin AW 69-44

Very expected game in Nagoya where 10th ranked Aishin Wings (5-16) were crushed by fifth ranked Mitsubishi K. (14-7) 69-44. The game without a history. Mitsubishi K. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Guard Midori Kazama (168-90) nailed 16 points and 4 steals for the winning side and the former international center Risa Nishioka (184-97) accounted for 13 points. Four Mitsubishi K. players scored in double figures. The former international center Kyoko Hamaguchi (181-90) came up with 4 points and 9 rebounds and center Baiq Ghua (185-92) added 10 points respectively for Aishin Wings in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Mitsubishi K.. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Chanson V-M. Aishin Wings lost their third game in a row. They keep the tenth position with 16 games lost. Mitsubishi K. will again play against Aishin Wings (#10) in Anjo in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Aishin Wings will have a break next round.
