There was no surprise when 12th ranked Tessilform Bernareggio (7-12) was outleveled on the road by first ranked Cento (18-1) 81-47 on Sunday. Cento outrebounded Tessilform Bernareggio 49-25 including a 13-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Tessilform Bernareggio was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for swingman Nelson Rizzitiello (198-84) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 7 rebounds. Naturalized Argentinian guard Adrian Chiera (190-94, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 20 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Five Cento players scored in double figures. Point guard Federico De-Bettin (180-94) answered with 9 points and 4 assists and Giacomo Baldini (190-96) added 11 points in the effort for Tessilform Bernareggio. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Cento have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place in B with 18-1 record. Newly promoted Tessilform Bernareggio keeps the twelfth position with 12 games lost. Cento will face Lugo (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tessilform Bernareggio will play against Forli Tigers and hope to win that game.
