There was no surprise when 8th ranked Mataro Feimat (6-9) was edged by fifth ranked Palma II (11-4) in S'Arenal 70-67 on Sunday. Palma II made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. Mataro Feimat was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for center Carlos Bustamante (201-88) who led his team to a victory with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Miguel Corbacho (192-79) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Four Palma II players scored in double figures. Saikou Diallo (-98) answered with 22 points and David Romero (-90) added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Mataro Feimat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. The victory was the third consecutive win for Palma II. They moved-up to third place in Group C-B, which they share with Valls Nutrion and Igualada. Mataro Feimat lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
