The game with biggest result difference took place in Ningbo. Local Bayi Rockets (3-29) lost to third ranked Golden Stars (23-9) 103-88 on Sunday night. Golden Stars dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Bayi Rockets' 42. They outrebounded Bayi Rockets 50-39 including 35 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a quality performance of Lithuanian power forward Donatas Motiejunas (213-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 18 rebounds and the former international center HanLin Tao (208-91) who added 31 points and 11 rebounds (on 13-of-14 shooting from the field) during the contest. International center Hao Fu (206-97) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and guard Yuxiang Tian (185-92) scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Bayi Rockets players scored in double figures. Bayi Rockets' coach tested ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Golden Stars have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 23-9 record having just three points less than leader Guangsha L., which they share with Guangdong ST. Bayi Rockets lost eleventh consecutive game. They stay dead last with 29 lost games. Golden Stars will meet league's leader Zhejiang Guangsha Lions in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bayi Rockets will play against Eagles (#16) and hope to secure a win.
