Very expected game when 10th ranked Matera (9-10) lost at home to first ranked San Severo (18-1) 95-90 on Sunday. San Severo made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Quite impressive performance for the former international power forward Massimo Rezzano (205-82, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who helped to win the game recording 22 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. San Severo maintains first place in B with 18-1 record, which they share with Cento. Loser Matera dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. San Severo will face Perugia (#15) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Matera will play against Bisceglie (#3) and hope to win that game.
