Regular Season Round 15: BG Lulea - KFUM Central 59-81

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 7th ranked BG Lulea (7-7) was smashed at home by eighth ranked KFUM Central (7-6) 81-59 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by KFUM Central. BG Lulea was better in fourth quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for guard Joeffrey-Masabe Paulsson (186-90) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. Swingman Tecle Bymnet (190-96, college: San Francisco CC) contributed with 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five KFUM Central players scored in double figures. Guard Gustav Moberg (186-0) answered with 17 points and point guard David Hook (185-99) added 6 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for BG Lulea. BG Lulea's coach Fredrik Joulamo gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. KFUM Central moved-up to seventh place. Loser BG Lulea dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. KFUM Central will face league's second-placed KFUM Blackeberg in Vallingby in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BG Lulea will play on the road against Jamtland II (#6) in Ostersund and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
