Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Scauri (9-10) was outscored at home by second ranked Basket Barcellona (16-3) 94-74 on Sunday. Quite impressive performance for guard Daniele Grilli (190-87) who helped to win the game recording 23 points. Power forward Luigi Brunetti (205-88) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Forward Davide Serino (199-81) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and Andrea Longobardi (199-94) added 24 points and 5 assists in the effort for Scauri. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Scauri's coach Renato Sabatino rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Basket Barcellona keeps a position of B leader. Loser Scauri keeps the eighth place with ten games lost. Basket Barcellona will face Roma Luiss (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Scauri will play against Venafro and hope to win that game.
