Regular Season Round 18: Bourg - Gravelines 77-75

There was no surprise when 10th ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (8-10) was edged on the road by fifth ranked JL Bourg (11-7) 77-75 on Monday. However just two-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The best player for the winners was American center Zachery Peacock (203-87, college: Georgia Tech) who scored 23 points and 8 rebounds. Senegalese center Youssou Ndoye (213-91, college: St.Bonaventure) chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds. Four JL Bourg players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Terry Allen (203-93, college: Richmond) who recorded 20 points and point guard Benjamin Sene (186-94) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively. Gravelines-Dunkerque's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. JL Bourg have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Limoges. Gravelines-Dunkerque lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with ten games lost. JL Bourg will face Paris-Levallois (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Gravelines-Dunkerque will play against Boulazac Basket and hope to win that game.
