Regular Season Round 16: Maccabi Raanana - Maccabi K/G 87-72

The most important game in the last round took place in Raanana between second ranked Maccabi K/G (11-5) and eighth ranked Maccabi Raanana (8-8) on Tuesday night. Maccabi K/G was defeated by Maccabi Raanana on the road 87-72. Maccabi Raanana had a 35-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. Four Maccabi Raanana and five Maccabi K/G players scored in double figures. Maccabi Raanana moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Hap.R/G Givat. and Hap.Haifa. Maccabi K/G at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. They share it with Elitzur K-A and Hapoel B/S. Maccabi Raanana is looking forward to face higher ranked Hapoel B/S (#4) in Beer Sheva in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Maccabi K/G will play at home against the league's leader Maccabi Rehovot and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
