Fourteenth-ranked Hapoel Migd.H. (3-13) gave a tough game to ninth ranked Elitzur Yavne (7-9). Elitzur Yavne managed to secure only two-point victory 106-104. However their fans expected much easier game. Elitzur Yavne players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a very good performance for naturalized American guard Clarke Rosenberg (193-93, college: Chicago St.) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 9 assists. Naturalized German forward Idan Rejwan (197-91) contributed with 23 points for the winners. American forward Dion Wright (201-93, college: St.Bonaventure) replied with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import forward Jimmy Hall (203-94, college: Kent St.) added 20 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Hapoel Migd.H.Five Elitzur Yavne and four Hapoel Migd.H. players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Elitzur Yavne maintains ninth position with 7-9 record. Hapoel Migd.H. lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost. Elitzur Yavne's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Ironi Kiryat Ata on the road and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Hapoel Migd.H. will play against Hap.Haifa (#6) and hope to win that game.
