Second-ranked Helsinki Seagulls (16-10) was very close to win a game against first ranked Salon Vilpas (22-6) on Wednesday. Salon Vilpas managed to secure only three-point victory 92-89. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Helsinki Seagulls. The hosts trailed by 10 points after three quarters before their 31-18 charge, which allowed them to win the game. 25 personal fouls committed by Helsinki Seagulls helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
