Regular Season Round 16: B.Cearense - Vitoria 78-77

The most exciting game of round 16 in the NBB took place in Aldeota. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 8th ranked Universo/Vitoria (9-9) to ninth ranked SKY/Basquete (8-8) 78-77 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Universo/Vitoria. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Italian point guard Paulinho Boracini (183-84) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 4 steals. The former international point guard David Rossetto (180-93) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 12 assists and 4 steals for the winners. The former international Andre Bresolin (195-87) replied with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and the former international power forward Murilo Becker (211-83) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Universo/Vitoria. Five SKY/Basquete and four Universo/Vitoria players scored in double figures. SKY/Basquete have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain ninth position with 8-8 record. Universo/Vitoria at the other side keeps the eighth place with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
