Regular Season Round 22: R8 Krakow - Pogon Prudnik 84-59

The game with biggest result difference took place in Krakow. Local R8 Krakow (15-6) outscored 13th ranked Pogon Prudnik (7-14) 84-59. They outrebounded Pogon Prudnik 50-22 including a 36-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. R8 Krakow players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of center Jakub Dluski (200-87) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Marcin Nowakowski (184-89) contributed with 9 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Pawel Bogdanowicz (197-87) replied with 10 points and 9 assists and power forward Maciej Strzelecki (204-87) added 16 points in the effort for Pogon Prudnik. Four Pogon Prudnik players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. R8 Krakow have an impressive six-game winning streak. Newly promoted R8 Krakow maintains fifth position with 15-6 record. Pogon Prudnik lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth place with 14 games lost. R8 Krakow will play against Kotwica (#11) in Kolobrzeg in the next round where they are favorite. Pogon Prudnik will play on the road against Sokol Lancut and hopes to get back on the winning track.
