Regular Season Round 22: Pruszkow - Kotwica 88-81

Rather expected game when 10th ranked Kotwica (8-13) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Pruszkow (11-10) 88-81. Pruszkow outrebounded Kotwica 43-32 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was a very good performance for center Damian Cechniak (208-93) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds. Guard Adrian Kordalski (185-95) contributed with 8 points, 5 rebounds, 11 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Pruszkow's coach Marek Zapalowski allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Szymon Rduch (196-89) replied with 18 points and 4 assists and forward Pawel Pawlowski (196-82) added 20 points in the effort for Kotwica. Five Kotwica players scored in double figures. Pruszkow have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 11-10 record. Kotwica lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh place with 13 games lost. Pruszkow will play against Biofarm PZN (#10) in Poznan in the next round. Kotwica will play at home against R8 Krakow and hopes to get back on the winning track.
