Second Stage Round 6: Barrio Parque - Union SF 90-81

There was a minor upset in Cordoba where 10th ranked Union SF (10-13) was defeated by twelfth ranked Barrio Parque (10-13) 90-81 on Wednesday. It was a great shooting night for Barrio Parque especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. Forward Nicolas Lauria (202-88) had a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Agustin Jure (183-91) chipped in 17 points and 6 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Haitian-American forward James Cambronne (201-91, college: St.Michael's) with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and power forward Miguel Isola (197-83) scored 17 points. Five Barrio Parque and four Union SF players scored in double figures. Union SF's coach Daniel Beltramo rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Barrio Parque moved-up to eleventh place in North, which they share with defeated Union SF. Union SF lost fourth consecutive game. Barrio Parque will face league's leader Libertad Sunchales on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
