Rather expected game when 8th ranked Den Helder (3-13) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Rotterdam (9-7) 95-77 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by Rotterdam. Den Helder managed to win third quarter 26-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rotterdam looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Belgian point guard Ordane Kanda-Kanyinda (186-96) scored 19 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Robert Krabbendam (213-86, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Court Side) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds during the contest.
