Bottom-ranked Samaheej managed to get a second victory, breaking the series of two consecutive losses. This time they outleveled eleventh-ranked Hidd 74-51. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 23-point difference proves that Samaheej was well-prepared to that game. Mohammed Hameed stepped up with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Hussain Busafwan chipped in 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Samaheej players scored in double figures. At the losing side Hussain Lulu responded with 23 points and 5 rebounds and Ali Alnajjar scored 13 points. Samaheej (2-21) moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Hidd and Isa Town. Hidd lost their eighth game in a row. Samaheej's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Manama to the arena Al-Najma.
