Regular Season Round 19: Siliwangi - NSH 57-71

Bottom-ranked Siliwangi is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 14th consecutive match to fifth ranked NSH (2-11) 71-57. NSH dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Siliwangi's 30. They outrebounded Siliwangi 46-34 including 31 on the defensive glass. American forward Jason Carter (206-92, college: Texas Southern, agency: Haylett Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 29 points and 20 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import guard Brachon Griffin (185-92, college: Elizabeth City, agency: SDJ Sports) chipped in 20 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. American guard Darnell Brown-II (190-90, college: Bowling Green) produced 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Kevin Poetiray (186-95) added 12 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. NSH maintains fifth place with 2-11 record which they share with defeated Siliwangi. Siliwangi lost their fourteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 14 games lost. NSH will have a break next round. Siliwangi will play on the road against the league's leader Pelita Jaya (#1) in Jakarta and hopes to get finally their first victory.
