Regular Season Round 18: Yulon Luxgen - Fubon Braves 94-78

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Yulon Luxgen as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Yulon Luxgen defeated 4th ranked Fubon Braves at home 94-78. Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Cheng-Ju Lu (194-86) chipped in 22 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international guard Tsung-Hsien Chang (192-87, college: BYU-Hawaii) with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds and American center Garret Siler (213-86, college: Augusta) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds. Five Yulon Luxgen and four Fubon Braves players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Fubon Braves at the other side keep the fourth place with ten games lost. Fubon Braves will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Yulon Luxgen will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Dacin Tigers in Taipei.
