Very predictable result in Changchun where second ranked Flying Leopards (26-8) defeated 18th ranked Jilin Tigers (7-27) 114-99. Flying Leopards dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Jilin Tigers' 48. Worth to mention a great performance of American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin) who helped to win the game recording 39 points (!!!), 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. The other American import forward Brandon Bass (203-85, college: LSU, agency: Dutt Sports Services) contributed with 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Flying Leopards' coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American forward Carl Landry (206-83, college: Purdue) replied with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds and forward Biao Zhang (201-90) added 20 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Jilin Tigers. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Flying Leopards have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 26-8 record having just two points less than leader Guangsha L. Jilin Tigers lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the eighteenth place with 27 games lost. Flying Leopards' next round opponent will be Sharks (#11) in Shanghai and are hoping to win another game.
