There was an upset when higher ranked Nantes (6-11) lost on the road to seventeenth ranked Charleville-Mezieres (3-13) 81-68 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 15-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 81-68. Swingman Lucas Dussoulier (203-96) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Corentin Carne (195-96) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Charleville-Mezieres' coach Alex Casimiri used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Naturalized Ivorian swingman Guy-Landry Edi (202-88, college: Gonzaga) answered with 14 points and Croatian forward Zoran Vrkic (203-87) added 13 points in the effort for Nantes.
