There was no surprise in Santiado del Estero where 10th ranked Weber Bahia (7-8) was defeated by fourth ranked Quimsa (11-5) 77-68 on Friday. The former international point guard Nicolas De-los-Santos (180-88) fired 17 points and 6 assists for the winners. The former international Sebastian Vega (200-88) chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds. Four Quimsa players scored in double figures. Panamanian Jamaal Levy (206-83, college: Wake Forest) produced 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Uruguayan point guard Luciano Parodi (182-94) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Weber Bahia's coach Sebastian Ginobili rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Quimsa moved-up to second place, which they share with Atenas. Loser Weber Bahia keeps the tenth position with eight games lost. Quimsa will have a break next round. Weber Bahia will play on the road against Olimpico de La Banda (#19) and hope to win that game.
