Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Rocamora (7-16) was defeated at home by eleventh ranked Villa Mitre CF (11-14) 82-78 on Saturday. Villa Mitre CF made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Villa Mitre CF had a 30-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Villa Mitre CF especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. American power forward Eric Anderson (204-93, college: New Haven) fired a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners. Guard Lucas Picarelli (184-81) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists. Four Villa Mitre CF players scored in double figures. Villa Mitre CF's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Gary Johnson (198-88, college: Texas) produced 35 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and guard Martin Gandoy (194-91) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Villa Mitre CF moved-up to eighth place in South. Rocamora lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with 16 games lost. Villa Mitre CF will face higher ranked Parque Sur (#3) in Concepcion de Urug. in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rocamora will play on the road against the league's second-placed Deportivo Viedma (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
