Regular Season Round 16: Alvik Basket - LF Future 100-56

Very expected game when 10th ranked LF Future (2-17) was smashed by fifth ranked Alvik Basket (8-8) in Stockholm 100-56. The game without a history. Alvik Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to LF Future's 32. Alvik Basket forced 20 LF Future turnovers and outrebounded them 57-35 including a 34-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Alvik Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 35 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by LF Future's players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Richard Hartmann (203-89) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Emil Haglund (201-96) who added 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Five Alvik Basket players scored in double figures. At the losing side naturalized Serbian guard Stefan Zivkovic (185-93) responded with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and swingman John Sinclair (192-96) scored 7 points and 12 rebounds. Alvik Basket maintains fifth position with 8-8 record. LF Future lost fifteenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 17 games lost. Alvik Basket will play against higher ranked Wetterbygden (#3) in Huskvarna in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. LF Future will have a break next round.
