There was no surprise when 10th ranked Sevilla 2 (4-12) was outplayed at home by seventh ranked Jaguarzo Adepla (7-9) 108-81 on Saturday. The game without a history. Jaguarzo Adepla led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Jaguarzo Adepla forced 19 Sevilla 2 turnovers. Sevilla 2 was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Serbian center Dusan Kostic (205-94) scored 22 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American forward David Atkinson (203-91, college: Salem Intern.) chipped in 25 points during the contest. Four Jaguarzo Adepla players scored in double figures. At the losing side Lithuanian forward Tomas Balciunas (203-0) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and Luxembourg center Lou Demuth (212-0) scored 21 points and 8 rebounds. Sevilla 2's coach already knew that his team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Jaguarzo Adepla have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place in Group D-B, which they share with 4 other teams. Sevilla 2 lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Jaguarzo Adepla will face higher ranked Huelva (#3) at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Sevilla 2 will play against Benahavis (#5) and hope to win that game.
