Twelfth-ranked Fly Dragons (16-19) made lots of trouble for seventh ranked Xinjiang Flying Tige (23-12) in Beijing. The visitors from Urumqi managed to secure only two-point victory 113-111. However their fans expected much easier game. American-Bulgarian point guard Darius Adams (188-89, college: Indianapolis, agency: Dutt Sports Services) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 13 assists. International forward Gen Li (197-88) contributed with 25 points for the winners. Lebanese point guard Wael Arakji (194-94) answered with 22 points and 9 assists and Taiwanese guard Chin-Min Yang (195-84) added 25 points in the effort for Fly Dragons. Four Xinjiang Flying Tige and five Fly Dragons players scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Xinjiang Flying Tige. Defending champion maintains seventh place with 23-12 record. Fly Dragons at the other side keep the twelfth position with 19 games lost. Xinjiang Flying Tige will play against Beijing Ducks (#8) on the road in the next round. Fly Dragons will play against Bayi Rockets (#20) in Ningbo and hope to get back on the winning track.
