Regular Season Round 23: Notec Inowr. - Enea Astoria 61-98

No shocking result in a game when twelfth ranked Enea Astoria (8-13) crushed 16th ranked Notec Inowr. (4-18) in Inowroclaw 98-61 on Saturday. Enea Astoria dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Notec Inowr.'s 34. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Center Mateusz Fatz (205-96) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!). Pawel Spica (190-93) contributed with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Five Enea Astoria players scored in double figures. Enea Astoria's coach Konrad Kazmierczyk felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Center Lukasz Paul (205-89) answered with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and center Wojciech Zurawski (202-76) added 9 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Notec Inowr.Enea Astoria maintains twelfth place with 8-13 record. Notec Inowr. lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the sixteenth position with 18 games lost. Enea Astoria will face higher ranked Siarka (#8) in Tarnobrzeg in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Notec Inowr. will play on the road against Polfarmex (#4) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
