Very predictable result in Verona where third ranked Alpo VF (14-4) outscored 15th ranked Bolzano (4-15) 92-45 on Saturday. Alpo VF held Bolzano to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 51.5 percent accuracy of the winners. Alpo VF forced 20 Bolzano turnovers and outrebounded them 40-29 including 16 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was forward Elena Ramo (185-94) who scored 28 points. Forward Arianna Zampieri (183-88) chipped in 15 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Croatian power forward Ivona Matic (189-86) who recorded 14 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Chiara Villarini (186-96) added 6 points and 6 rebounds respectively.
