Regular Season Round 20: Moncalieri - LTC Sangiorg. 64-75

There was no surprise when 15th ranked Moncalieri (3-17) was defeated at home by tenth ranked LTC Sangiorg. (10-10) 75-64 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Giovanni Lenti (200-96) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Andrea Tassinari (188-96, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 11 points and 9 assists during the contest. Guard Guglielmo De-Ros (185-98) responded with 22 points, 6 assists and 7 steals and naturalized Nigerian power forward Emmanuel Enihe (198-98) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. LTC Sangiorg. moved-up to seventh place in B, which they share with Desio and Forli Tigers. Loser Moncalieri keeps the fifteenth position with 17 games lost. LTC Sangiorg. will face Oleggio (#11) at home in the next round. Moncalieri will play against Omnia Basket (#8) in Pavia and hope to win that game.
