An interesting game for Champville (14-4) which hosted in Dik El Mehdi one of their biggest challengers Sagesse (13-5). Third ranked Champville managed to get a 6-point victory 95-89. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Sagesse. Champville dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Sagesse's 28. They outrebounded Sagesse 42-30 including 31 on the defensive glass. Champville players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The former international forward Fadi El-Khatib (198-79) had a double-double by scoring 26 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Dewarick Spencer (192-82, college: Arkansas St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) chipped in 25 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Champville's coach Ghassan Sarkis allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was the former international swingman Nadim Souaid (192-86) with 25 points and 4 assists and international center Ater Majok (208-87, college: Connecticut) scored 16 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Champville have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 14-4 record behind leader Homenetmen. Sagesse at the other side keeps the fourth place with five games lost.
