A very close game took place in Chalon between ES Chalonnais and Nanterre. Tenth ranked ES Chalonnais (10-7) got a very close home victory over one of their biggest challengers Nanterre (10-7). ES Chalonnais managed to escape with a 2-point win 69-67 in the game for the sixth place.
